Lakeville Area Schools, also known as Independent School District No. 194, is an award-winning school district located in Minnesota. Job Requirements
- Ability to work 25 hours per week during school days
- Availability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods, lifting, and cleaning
- Compliance with school district policies and health regulations
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or summer work required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen work is an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills to interact positively with students and staff
- Basic math skills for cashiering duties
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Job Duties
- Preparing food such as making sandwiches, cutting fruits and vegetables, making salads
- Serving breakfast or lunch to students
- Cashiering and handling payment transactions
- Washing dishes and cleaning kitchen utensils
- Mopping kitchen floors
- Cleaning and tidying up the kitchen at the end of the day
