Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience
- Food Handler's certification
- ability to work weekends, Saturday-Sunday, and variable weekdays during specified shifts
- compliance with health and safety regulations
- attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness

Job Duties
- Prepares food including washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning
- cooks food by baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking
- takes stock to ensure quality and quantity for meal preparation
- ensures cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen
- complies with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements
- maintains sanitary standards for handling, transportation, and storage of food
- presents oneself professionally to ensure resident satisfaction
