Job Requirements

  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass criminal background checks
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • Defensive Driving certification
  • Valid driver's license without restrictions
  • Food Handler's Card and annual health examination
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to travel overnight if needed
  • Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of paid food service experience with one year in administrative food service roles
  • Strong ability to cook and manage food service operations within budget
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Skills to calculate proportions, percentages, and perform basic math
  • Capability to follow instructions and solve standardized problems
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving Certifications
  • Current Food Handler's Card and Health Examination
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC functions

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals and ensure compliance with regulations and client-approved menus
  • Plan meals according to dietitian-approved schedules and communicate menu substitutions
  • Manage inventory and order food and equipment supplies
  • Maintain sanitary and safety standards in kitchen and serving areas
  • Keep accurate records related to food service operations
  • Stay knowledgeable of operational policies and emergency procedures
  • Work assigned schedules and participate in required meetings and appointments
