Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass criminal background checks
- Must be at least 21 years old
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Defensive Driving certification
- Valid driver's license without restrictions
- Food Handler's Card and annual health examination
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel overnight if needed
- Proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Office
Job Qualifications
- At least two years of paid food service experience with one year in administrative food service roles
- Strong ability to cook and manage food service operations within budget
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to write reports and correspondence
- Skills to calculate proportions, percentages, and perform basic math
- Capability to follow instructions and solve standardized problems
- Must be at least 21 years old
- CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving Certifications
- Current Food Handler's Card and Health Examination
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic PC functions
Job Duties
- Prepare meals and ensure compliance with regulations and client-approved menus
- Plan meals according to dietitian-approved schedules and communicate menu substitutions
- Manage inventory and order food and equipment supplies
- Maintain sanitary and safety standards in kitchen and serving areas
- Keep accurate records related to food service operations
- Stay knowledgeable of operational policies and emergency procedures
- Work assigned schedules and participate in required meetings and appointments
