Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of dietary and food safety regulations
  • Ability to document food safety logs and schedules accurately
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail and food quality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in fine dining preferred
  • Ability to manage food production independently
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations related to food service
  • Skilled in food preparation and safety standards
  • Experience with special dietary needs
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items using standardized recipes in a timely manner
  • Determine food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours
  • Prepare all special dietary needs as directed by the menus
  • Monitor food items to ensure temperature, taste, and quality standards are met
  • Assist with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules
  • Manage all food production in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Follow all local, state, and federal food handling policies
