Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience
  • Food Handler's certification
  • Availability to work 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience
  • Food Handler's certification
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and food preparation guidelines
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare food to ensure quality and quantity meet residents' needs
  • Handle food in accordance with sanitary standards and recognized food preparation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
  • Follow all safety and health regulations when preparing and storing food
  • Assist with inventory management and food ordering
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and dining team to ensure efficient meal service
  • Monitor food portion sizes and presentation
