Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience preferred
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards
- ability to lift and move food supplies
- flexible availability for shifts
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- knife skills preferred
- ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- effective communication skills
- passion for providing excellent care to residents
Job Duties
- Prepare all food following standard recipes and special diet orders
- ensure food is at an acceptable temperature
- check daily events to ensure needs are met
- determine amount and type of food supplies required for daily menus
- obtain supplies from storage areas for meal production
- maintain a clean working environment
