Job Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Current valid Food Handler's License or able to obtain upon hire
  • Previous experience as a cook or relevant experience preferred
  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift
  • Able to bend and kneel through shift
  • Able to lift to 35 pounds or more routinely
  • Availability to work part-time swing shift from 2pm to 7pm on various days

Job Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Current valid Food Handler's License or able to obtain upon hire
  • Previous experience as a cook or relevant cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work swing shift hours from 2pm to 7pm
  • Strong attention to detail and food safety
  • Good physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 35 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare large batches of meals for senior residents
  • Ensure proper nutrition and food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Manage food inventory and supplies
  • Assist with meal planning and menu adjustments
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and care staff
  • Adhere to all health regulations and policies
