Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of cooking experience
- Ability to work two days per week from 2 pm to 7 pm
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively in a team

- Passion for working with geriatric residents and understanding their special needs
- Ability to follow directions, multi-task, and work collaboratively as part of a team
- ServSafe certification is desirable

Job Duties
- Prepare meals according to planned menus and standardized recipes
- Serve food following established portion control procedures
- Ensure food is cooked at proper temperatures and complete required checklists and logs
- Assist with inventory management and receiving deliveries
- Work with the Executive Chef/Chef Manager to coordinate menus and special requests
- Adapt schedule when necessary to accommodate urgent situations
- Follow all safe food handling procedures including proper glove use
- Perform daily and scheduled cleaning tasks according to company policies
- Adhere to therapeutic and mechanically altered diet guidelines as required
