Job Requirements

  • at least two years of experience working in hotel kitchen, restaurant or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate effectively with team members
  • self-motivated and organized
  • ability to multitask
  • strong customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • prior experience working in senior living industry preferred but not required
  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
  • self-motivated, organized, and professional
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply operations
  • secure items in time for food preparation
  • ensure correct storage of leftovers
  • maintain food inventories
  • adhere to sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • communicate and work cohesively with restaurant team members
