Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of cooking experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar food service operation
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to follow recipes and prepare meals accurately
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently
- availability to work the scheduled hours
- must be self-motivated and organized
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in senior living industry preferred but not required
- at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, restaurant, or similar operation
- knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
- ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with others
- self-motivated, organized, and professional
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
- work with Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply management
- secure items in time for food preparation
- ensure leftovers are stored correctly
- maintain accurate food inventories
- adhere to sanitation and safe food handling standards
- communicate and work cohesively with restaurant team members
