Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of professional cooking experience or culinary education equivalent
  • ability to stand for up to eight hours
  • capability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • knowledge of workplace safety and food safety guidelines
  • ability to operate slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers safely
  • adherence to dress code and punctuality
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year of professional cooking experience or equivalent education
  • basic knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques
  • ability to use large-volume culinary equipment safely
  • understanding of food safety and HACCP guidelines
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
  • good communication skills for reporting to management
  • capability to work effectively under pressure

Job Duties

  • Clock in and out for workday and breaks
  • always provide high quality of service per ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • utilize food preparation procedures according to federal, state, and local guidelines
  • apply basic cooking and preparation techniques as required
  • execute NetMenu recipe preparation as directed by chefs or production sheets
  • clean and sanitize work areas and equipment according to regulatory and company policies
  • notify management of ingredient discrepancies, equipment safety issues, or other concerns
  • attend daily meetings
  • perform other assigned duties
