Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of professional cooking experience or culinary education equivalent
- ability to stand for up to eight hours
- capability to lift up to 35 pounds
- knowledge of workplace safety and food safety guidelines
- ability to operate slicers, mixers, food processors, blenders, and choppers safely
- adherence to dress code and punctuality
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of professional cooking experience or equivalent education
- basic knowledge of cooking and food preparation techniques
- ability to use large-volume culinary equipment safely
- understanding of food safety and HACCP guidelines
- ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions
- good communication skills for reporting to management
- capability to work effectively under pressure
Job Duties
- Clock in and out for workday and breaks
- always provide high quality of service per ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
- utilize food preparation procedures according to federal, state, and local guidelines
- apply basic cooking and preparation techniques as required
- execute NetMenu recipe preparation as directed by chefs or production sheets
- clean and sanitize work areas and equipment according to regulatory and company policies
- notify management of ingredient discrepancies, equipment safety issues, or other concerns
- attend daily meetings
- perform other assigned duties
