Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of two years culinary experience in a hotel kitchen or restaurant
  • knowledge of sanitation and food safety protocols
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work independently and multitask
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, a restaurant, or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply procurement
  • ensure proper storage of leftovers
  • maintain food inventories
  • adhere to sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • communicate effectively with team members
  • provide strong customer service
