Job Requirements

  • high school degree or equivalent
  • must pass a criminal background check
  • current valid Food Handler's License or able to obtain upon hire
  • previous experience as a cook or relevant experience preferred
  • physically able to stand and move during shift
  • able to bend and kneel throughout shift
  • able to lift 35 pounds or more routinely

  • cook large batches efficiently and safely
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen
  • adhere to food safety standards and regulations
  • manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • assist with meal planning and menu development
  • ensure a warm and welcoming dining experience for residents
