Job Requirements
- Prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience
- food handler's certification
- availability to work part-time, including Friday to Sunday and variable weekdays from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- adherence to all food safety and sanitation protocols
- ability to maintain cleanliness in the kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary, food service, or restaurant experience
- food handler's certification
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
Job Duties
- Prepares food including washing, trimming, cutting, portioning, measuring, mixing, and panning
- cooks food using baking, broiling, frying, steaming, braising, boiling, and pressure cooking methods
- takes stock to ensure appropriate quality and quantity for meal preparation
- ensures cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen
- complies with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements
- maintains sanitary standards for handling, transportation, and storage of food
