Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous cooking experience preferred
- ability to work part-time Monday through Thursday with varying hours
- basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
- ability to follow instructions accurately
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
- commitment to safety including the use of protective equipment
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is attractive and tasty
- tastes all prepared food items for quality control
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
- cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards
- stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures
- keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and orderly
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- reports maintenance needs or equipment faults immediately
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- follows all company safety policies including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- performs other duties as assigned
