Job Requirements

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm part-time schedule
  • Ability to follow food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols
  • Willingness to wear safety equipment such as cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Previous kitchen experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Capable of maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Commitment to following safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at correct temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required
  • Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, maintenance of serving temperatures
  • Abides by all Company policies and procedures including safety protocols for gloves and footwear
