Job Requirements

  • Meet local or municipal food safety requirements such as Food Handler certification acquired at applicant's own expense
  • Ability to prepare hot and cold foods using kitchen equipment including Chinese cook knives
  • Capacity to work in noisy, hot kitchen environments with restricted workspace
  • Must be able to stand for up to four hours and reach across countertops 36 inches high
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a team
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work standing for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • Some high school education
  • Prefer some operations experience
  • Knowledge of local or municipal food safety requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Support in creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for guests
  • Prepare all dishes to meet company recipes and standards
  • Guide kitchen team and assist with their training
  • Perform all back of house responsibilities
  • Work quickly and accurately under the pressures of a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
