Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to operate large-volume cooking equipment
  • Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
  • Able to maintain excellent attendance
  • Ability to work flexible seasonal hours
  • Food handling certification if mandated by local regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly with employees, co-workers, management, and guests in a respectful and business-like manner
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possession of valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Responsible for cooking and packaging food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Receives verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
  • Maintains quality and production standards on all menu items ensuring fresh and high-quality food
  • Controls portion size and serving temperature of all concession stand products
  • Cleans, stocks and restocks workstations and displays
  • Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and ovens
  • Ensures cleanliness of work areas and equipment, proper food storage, clean utensils and clean floors according to company standards
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • Demonstrates excellent attendance and reliability
