Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
- Ability to operate cooking equipment such as grills and fryers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow food safety standards
- Ability to maintain sanitation and cleanliness in the workplace
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and event days
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possession of valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Responsible for cooking and packaging food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
- Receives verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
- Maintains quality and production standards for all menu items ensuring freshness and high quality
- Controls portions and ensures serving temperatures of concession stand products
- Cleans, stocks, and restocks workstations and displays
- Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
- Ensures cleanliness of work areas and equipment and compliance with sanitation, health, and safety standards
- Demonstrates excellent attendance and adheres to shift check-out procedures
