Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation or cooking in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain high food quality and sanitation standards
  • Capability to operate large-volume cooking equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail in portion control and food storage
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and event days
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance record

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Cook and package food products prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest order requirements
  • Maintain quality and production standards on all menu items ensuring freshness and high quality
  • Control portion sizes and serving temperatures of concession stand products
  • Clean, stock, and restock workstations and displays
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
  • Ensure work areas and equipment are clean and food products properly stored maintaining sanitation and safety standards
