Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
- possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to follow strict hygiene and food safety guidelines
- ability to communicate effectively with team members
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

- possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- adhere to board of health and servsafe regulations
- prepare food products as directed by recipe and/or supervisor while maintaining strict adherence to standards and specifications
- have excellent knowledge of all kitchen areas and share knowledge with others
- ensure all production priorities are completed daily using prep lists and delegating workload effectively
- maintain cleanliness of work area including refrigerators, counters, tables, storage areas
- provide and secure own tools as equipment/tools may not be available
- inform supervisor of any shortages or equipment malfunctions
- implement, monitor and instruct proper kitchen sanitation
- assist chef with ordering for locations/events when needed
- record cooler/freezer temperatures and notify chef/s of malfunctions
- supervise prep staff and delegate work assignments
- ensure prep staff follows FIFO guidelines for products
- perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
