Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation or concessions preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays as required
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shift
- Food handling certification if required by law
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and company policies
- Excellent attendance record
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including deep fryer flattop grill chargrill broiler steamer convection oven mixer meat slicer and chef knife
- Ability to communicate with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear business-like and respectful manner focusing on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment
- Ability to speak read and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented fast-paced event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
- Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements food preparation guidelines alcohol service policies safety standards pertaining to OVG and venue concession operations
- Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity professionalism ethics and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Provide high quality fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests
- Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements
- Participate as a team player with specific responsibilities related to preparation service and delivery of products
- Report any maintenance required for kitchen equipment
- Maintain sanitation health and safety standards in work areas
- Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking
- Portion arrange and garnish food plates for delivery to guests
- Consult with Stand Lead and Concessions Manager to plan menus and estimate expected food consumption
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standard for excellent attendance
