Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food preparation or concessions preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
- Valid food handling certificate if required
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Strong communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Able to operate standard kitchen equipment including deep fryer flattop grill chargrill broiler steamer convection oven mixer meat slicer and chef knife
- Ability to communicate clearly with employees co-workers volunteers management staff and guests in a respectful manner
- Ability to speak read and write in English
- Ability to work well in a team oriented fast paced event driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
- Possess thorough working knowledge of sanitation requirements food preparation guidelines alcohol service policies and safety standards
- Ability to adhere to the highest standards of integrity professionalism ethics and confidentiality
Job Duties
- Provide high quality fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests
- Prepare hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements
- Participate as a team player with responsibilities related to preparation and service
- Report any maintenance required for kitchen equipment
- Maintain sanitation health and safety standards in work areas
- Observe and test foods to ensure proper cooking
- Portion arrange and garnish food plates for delivery to guests
- Consult with Stand Lead and Concessions Manager to plan menus and estimate food consumption
- Demonstrate excellent attendance
