Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in a food preparation or cooking role preferred
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Demonstrated excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possession of a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Prepare and package food products to order or keep warm until sold
  • Receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest food requirements
  • Maintain quality and production standards ensuring fresh and high-quality food
  • Control portions and serving temperatures of concession stand menu items
  • Clean, stock and restock workstations and displays
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and ovens
  • Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
