Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior cooking or food preparation experience preferred
  • valid food handling certificate if required
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • reliable attendance record

Job Duties

  • responsible for cooking and packaging food product prepared to order or kept warm
  • receives verbal orders from front counter staff for guest food product requirements
  • maintains quality and production standards on all menu items
  • manages portion control and serving temperatures
  • cleans, stocks and restocks workstations and displays
  • operates large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers and ovens
  • ensures cleanliness of work areas and proper food storage
  • maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards
  • demonstrates excellent attendance
