Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
  • Ability to operate large-volume cooking equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately
  • Good physical stamina for standing and moving during shifts
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Cooking and packaging food products prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Receiving verbal orders from front counter staff for guest food requirements
  • Maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items
  • Ensuring food freshness and high quality when served
  • Managing portion control and serving temperatures
  • Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations and displays
  • Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
  • Ensuring work areas and equipment are clean and properly maintained
  • Maintaining sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • Demonstrating excellent attendance according to company standards
