Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience or training in food preparation
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends
  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and guests
  • ability to maintain excellent attendance
  • possess or be able to obtain a valid food handling certificate if required
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience or training in food preparation or other related kitchen experience
  • detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends based on events
  • strong communication skills with employees, coworkers, volunteers, management, and guests
  • ability to speak, read, and write English
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • Assist with the delivery of food to designated function areas
  • support with cooking utilizing a variety of equipment including convection ovens, fryers, and steamers
  • maintain quality and production standards for all menu items ensuring food is fresh and of high quality
  • assist with preparation of suite pre-orders, mid-event orders, catering events, and concession items
  • be responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand
  • clean, stock, and restock workstations
  • assist with cleaning dishes using dishwasher and handwashing
  • maintain a positive and compliant employee relations climate
  • ensure work areas and equipment are clean, food is properly stored, utensils are clean and put away, and floors swept and mopped at the end of the shift
  • maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • demonstrate excellent attendance
