Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience or training in food preparation
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends
- ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with team members and guests
- ability to maintain excellent attendance
- possess or be able to obtain a valid food handling certificate if required
- ability to work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience or training in food preparation or other related kitchen experience
- detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
- ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights and weekends based on events
- strong communication skills with employees, coworkers, volunteers, management, and guests
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Assist with the delivery of food to designated function areas
- support with cooking utilizing a variety of equipment including convection ovens, fryers, and steamers
- maintain quality and production standards for all menu items ensuring food is fresh and of high quality
- assist with preparation of suite pre-orders, mid-event orders, catering events, and concession items
- be responsible for portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand
- clean, stock, and restock workstations
- assist with cleaning dishes using dishwasher and handwashing
- maintain a positive and compliant employee relations climate
- ensure work areas and equipment are clean, food is properly stored, utensils are clean and put away, and floors swept and mopped at the end of the shift
- maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
- demonstrate excellent attendance
