Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work
- flexible availability to work event-based schedule including nights and weekends
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- effective communication skills
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- willingness to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
- ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience or training in food preparation or related kitchen experience
- detail oriented
- ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends
- effective communication skills with coworkers and management
- ability to speak, read, and write English
- ability to work well in a team-oriented, event-driven environment
- valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal regulations
Job Duties
- Assist with the delivery of food to designated function areas
- support cooking using various equipment including convection oven, fryer, and steamers
- maintain quality and production standards for all menu items
- assist with preparation of suite pre-orders, mid-event orders, and catering events
- control portion sizes and ensure proper serving temperatures
- clean, stock, and restock workstations
- assist with cleaning dishes by hand and dishwasher
- maintain positive employee relations
- ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment
- maintain food safety and health standards
- demonstrate excellent attendance
