Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or a similar cooking role preferred
- Valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possession of a valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
Job Duties
- Cooking and packaging food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
- Receiving verbal orders from front counter staff for guest food requirements
- Maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items
- Ensuring portion control and correct serving temperatures
- Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations and displays
- Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
- Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in all work areas
