Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or a similar cooking role preferred
  • Valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain sanitation and safety standards
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and event days

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment

Job Duties

  • Cooking and packaging food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • Receiving verbal orders from front counter staff for guest food requirements
  • Maintaining quality and production standards on all menu items
  • Ensuring portion control and correct serving temperatures
  • Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations and displays
  • Operating large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens
  • Maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in all work areas
