Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years scratch cook experience
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and meal plans
  • Capable of working collaboratively in a team setting
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to work 7 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday including every other weekend

Job Qualifications

  • Scratch cook experience of at least 2 years
  • Food Handler Certificate
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and meal plans accurately
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow directions

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes ensuring food meets quality taste and dietary requirements
  • Assist with meal plating and food presentation ensuring meals are visually appealing and appetizing
  • Store leftovers and prep food using proper labeling and within timeframes
  • Inventory food items as assigned
  • Maintain appropriate records of food temperatures production waste and usage
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area following food safety guidelines HACCP
  • Communicate food quality and availability issues equipment status customer and staffing issues to management
