Job Requirements

  • At least three years of kitchen experience
  • Ability to work on call with a part-time Monday through Thursday schedule
  • Willingness to adhere to safety protocols including use of protective gloves and shoes
  • Ability to perform job duties in accordance with federal, state, and corporate food safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle kitchen tasks safely
  • Availability to work at the Allianz Life location in Minneapolis, MN
  • Must comply with drug-free workplace policies

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years of kitchen experience
  • Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes and safety guidelines
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents immediately
  • Attends safety and in-service meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Performs all work in a safe and clean environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperature following HACCP standards
  • Abides by company policies on safety equipment use
  • Performs other duties as assigned
