Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of cooking, baking, or food preparation experience preferred
- Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- General knowledge of cooking and safe food handling with one year of cooking/baking/food prep experience preferred
- Courses in institutional cooking and food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- Cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served
- Meet requirements of quantity, quality and time requirements relating to meal schedules
- Clean and sanitize equipment and perform cleaning duties as assigned
- Keep accurate temperature records
- Complies with all policies, standards, mandatory training and requirements of Stormont Vail Health
- Performs other duties as assigned
