Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior cooking experience
- Ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities
- Awareness of special diets, seasoning requirements, cooking times and temperature controls
- Ability to estimate quantities of food required
- Ability to utilize leftovers while serving attractive, appetizing meals
- Ability to limit waste

Job Duties
- Prepare and/or direct preparation of salads, soups, fish, meats, vegetables, desserts, and all other foods
- Ensure all meals are of exemplary restaurant quality, nutritionally balanced and attractively served
- Monitor and maintain seasoning requirements, cooking times and temperature controls
- Estimate quantities of food required and utilize leftovers efficiently
- Serve attractive, appetizing meals that meet special dietary requirements
- Limit food waste through effective inventory management
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a positive and productive work environment
