Job Requirements
- able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and or certifications as required by local gaming regulations
- able to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Serv Safe certifications as required by the Lake County Health Department regulations
- lift up to 25 to 30 lbs
- stand for long periods
- navigate crowded spaces
- flexibility in bending and reaching
- adaptability to casino conditions including bright lights and noise
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous fine dining cooking experience preferred
- knowledge of health and sanitation standards
- proper cooking techniques and knife skills
- food knowledge
- bilingual is a plus
Job Duties
- participate in daily line checks
- assist with banquet preparation and execution to chefs specifications
- maintain cleanliness and organization in walk-ins and storage areas
- uphold all health and safety regulations
- take part in daily sanitation walk-throughs
- support front-of-house staff by providing accurate information on daily specials
- follow all directives from chefs and supervisors with professionalism and attention to detail
