Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of cooking experience
- Experience as a short order cook
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Three to five years' experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant, hotel, or senior living community preferred
- Experience as a short order cook required
- Must have full scale recipe production experience
- A genuine passion for food and a desire to create memorable dining experiences
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook delicious and nutritious meals according to menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menu ideas and seasonal offerings
- Provide exceptional customer service to our residents, catering to their individual preferences and dietary needs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations
