Job Requirements
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is required
- Ability to pass a nationwide background check
- Ability to pass a drug screening test
- Ability to work the designated 12pm-8:30pm shift Monday through Friday and every other weekend
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines and operation procedures
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficient in cooking and food preparation techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and nutrition
- Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions accurately
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate meals for patients, staff, and special events, following specific recipes and portion guidelines
- Follow all sanitation and food safety protocols, including temperature control, proper storage, and maintaining a clean work area
- Monitor and order food supplies, and track inventory to ensure freshness and availability
- Assist in other areas or duties as assigned
- Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure proper operation
- Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special dietary needs
- Ensure compliance with healthcare facility food service standards
