Job Requirements

  • Direct deposit and social security card required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience related to duties with skill in professional kitchen appliances and equipment
  • ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • resumes must be two pages or less
  • relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities demonstrated

Job Duties

  • Prepares and cooks a variety of menu items
  • works alone or with assistance of a higher-grade cook or supervisor
  • prepares foods and desserts according to menu requirements
  • follows recipes for soups, stews, casseroles, gravies, sauces, hot cereals, syrups, meatloaf, meatballs, hamburgers, and croquettes
  • adjusts recipes for larger or smaller quantities
  • roasts meats such as beef, pork, veal, lamb, fish, and poultry
  • grills and deep fries foods
  • broils and steams foods
  • slices meat by hand and mechanical means to specific requirements
  • apportions foods for family style and plate service
  • performs other duties as assigned
