Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Perform a full range of simple cooking tasks such as preparing pancakes, sausage, eggs, hamburgers, and vegetables
- prepare food by peeling, chopping, grinding, paring, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading
- operate various kitchen equipment using gas, electricity, steam, or microwave heat sources
- clean work areas and equipment including worktables, floors, walk-in refrigerators according to established cleaning schedules
- maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with food safety protocols
- complete mandatory food sanitation and safety training within 30 days and annual refresher training
- assist kitchen staff as needed in daily operations
