Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous cashier experience preferred
- Knowledge of cash management principles and procedures
- Account balancing skills
- Maintains knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA regulations appropriate to job position
- Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable safety practices including incident reporting, handling wastes, sharps and linens, PPE, exposure control plan, hand washing, and environment of care
- Demonstrates courtesy and care in interactions with customers and colleagues
- Takes initiative in customer service and teamwork
- Communicates effectively with customers
- Positive attitude towards quality improvement initiatives
- Ability to manage time and resources efficiently
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Receives and records cash or charge payments from customers
- Balances cash receipts against register tape daily
- Greets customers courteously and respectfully
- Calculates total cost of items and accepts payments with 100 percent accuracy
- Compares register totals with currency in register to verify balances
- Serves food to customers and maintains clean work areas
- Sets up board menu to reflect current menu and ensures presentation standards
- Obtains and places dishes, silverware, food, beverages, desserts, and condiments according to standards
- Replenishes items as needed
- Performs all other duties as assigned
