Job Requirements
- Complete favorable background investigation
- Complete food handlers certification training within specified time
- Pass pre-employment physical examination
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for extended periods
- Be a U.S. citizen or non-U.S. national with three years residency in U.S. territory
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
- Provide REAL ID or authorized combination of identity documents

Job Qualifications
- Must have experience in food preparation and presentation methods in grills, snack bars, restaurants, clubs, or similar food service environments
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
- Ability to season food properly and determine when foods are done
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for long periods
- Open to all applicants including those with various preference eligibilities
- Experience includes paid, unpaid, and volunteer work
- Clear description of relevant experience in resume required
- Foreign education must be equivalent to U.S. education standards
Job Duties
- Perform a full range of simple cooking tasks including preparing and cooking pancakes, sausages, eggs, hamburgers, and vegetables
- Prepare hot cereals and broiled meats
- Prepare and cook concentrated or dehydrated soups, sauces, and gravies
- Make cold sandwich fillings
- Prepare convenience items such as frozen hash browns, fish fillets, and chicken nuggets
- Bake pizzas
- Prepare food by peeling, chopping, grinding, cutting, slicing, dicing, pureeing, dredging, flouring, or breading
- Weigh, measure, and assemble ingredients
- Set up and replenish salad bar
- Portion foods for distribution and meal service
- Cover, date, and store leftovers according to established procedures
- Wash and clean kitchen equipment
- Follow oral and written instructions and work safely
- Perform other related duties as assigned
