Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous baking experience preferred
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
  • Available to work morning shifts from 6am to 2:30pm including holidays
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and special menus

Job Qualifications

  • Skilled baker with passion for baking and commitment to quality and cleanliness
  • Ability to work in high-volume, high-pressure environments
  • Preferred experience in senior living communities, hotels, or catering
  • Bilingual abilities, especially English and Spanish, are a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of special dietary needs
  • Experience with pastries or similar roles preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, bake and decorate a variety of baked goods including breads, pastries and cakes
  • Ensure quality and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Apply knowledge of dietary requirements such as low sugar, low carb, and gluten free
  • Read, understand and convert recipes and menus accurately
  • Lift and handle heavy items up to 50 lbs and operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Develop new recipes and participate in training sessions
  • Maintain punctuality and reliable transportation for morning shifts
