Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have and maintain a valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit
- Reasonable knowledge base of kitchen fundamentals including knife skills and organization
- Ability to run a station within the kitchen without constant supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to follow detailed production and appearance guidelines
- Physical stamina to manage kitchen demands including standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook products according to recipe specifications and food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Know menu items specific to position
- Possess fundamental skills of the kitchen including but not limited to seasoning, knife skills and organization
- Understand and follow production guidelines and location appearance guidelines
- Act with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
- Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Adhere to Levy guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
- Thoroughly complete all set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Employ good safety and sanitation practices
- Display a positive attitude toward teammates, managers and other groups
- Always on time and ready to perform all required duties
- Help fellow team members whenever necessary
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day
- Lift and move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
- Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly
