Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum six months of applicable experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
- Ability to perform basic math
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk distances
- Ability to work independently
- Depending on location, ServSafe certification may be required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required
- Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location

Job Duties
- Prepare and assemble baked goods and meals following menu and dietary requirements
- Cook, season, and portion food for patients, residents, staff, and visitors
- Maintain food quality standards in appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation
- Perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure cleanliness in cooking and serving areas
- Follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines for food preparation, storage, and documentation
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, and deep fryers
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with internal customers and team members
