Job Requirements

  • At least three years of professional line cooking experience
  • ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills including soups sauces stocks frying and broiling
  • capable of working multiple kitchen areas including restaurants banquets and garde manger
  • must be able to stand for long periods
  • excellent communication skills
  • flexibility to work various kitchen stations

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • minimum of three years professional line cooking experience
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work various kitchen stations
  • knowledge of basic and intermediate cooking techniques
  • leadership ability in absence of supervisor

Job Duties

  • Prepare soups sauces and stocks
  • perform frying and broiling techniques
  • work across multiple kitchen areas including restaurants banquets and garde manger
  • manage restaurant stations such as pantry sauté grill prep and expedite
  • provide direction in supervisor's absence
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
  • ensure food quality and consistency
