Job Duties

  • Leads the preparation of food for patients, staff, and visitors following safe cooking techniques
  • Assists in the oversight of staff to ensure processes and procedures are followed
  • Prepares and serves food within menu and dietary guidelines using kitchen equipment
  • Modifies preparations to account for food allergies
  • Champions food quality standards including appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation
  • Maintains proper labeling and storage of food products, equipment, and machinery per regulations and guidelines
