- Minimum two years of experience in food services
- Food handler permit: TX, within 30 days
- Servsafe certification within 30 days
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of experience in food services
- Food handler permit: TX, within 30 days
- Servsafe certification within 30 days
- One year of hospital experience preferred
- Associates or two years of equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Job Duties
- Champion food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature and sanitation
- Prepare and serve food within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements, using required kitchen utensils and equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, fryers, steamers, stove tops, and grills
- Modify preparations to account for food allergies
- Maintain proper labeling of food products and ensure storage of food equipment and machinery per regulations and facility guidelines
- Perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas
