Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous culinary or kitchen experience preferred
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
- friendly service orientation with a smile
- flexible availability including holidays and weekends
- punctuality and reliability with timekeeping
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies
- ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists
- adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen setting preferred
- positive attitude and willingness to learn
- ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
- ability to provide friendly service with a smile to guests
- flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends availability
- punctuality and ability to clock in and out on time
- ability to provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- use the guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
- support all groups and events at the hotel
- answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- greet every guest happily during cleaning
- complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- prepare meals in accordance with brand standards and guidelines
- comply with food safety and certification requirements
- maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with health regulations
- complete necessary food and station preparations prior to restaurant opening
- know location and operation of all safety equipment
- assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures
- perform other duties as assigned
