Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous culinary or kitchen experience preferred
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
  • friendly service orientation with a smile
  • flexible availability including holidays and weekends
  • punctuality and reliability with timekeeping
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies
  • ability to perform repetitive motions with hands and wrists
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience in hospitality or restaurant kitchen setting preferred
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • ability to follow instructions, assigned tasks, and meet deadlines
  • ability to provide friendly service with a smile to guests
  • flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends availability
  • punctuality and ability to clock in and out on time
  • ability to provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • use the guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
  • support all groups and events at the hotel
  • answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • greet every guest happily during cleaning
  • complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • prepare meals in accordance with brand standards and guidelines
  • comply with food safety and certification requirements
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with health regulations
  • complete necessary food and station preparations prior to restaurant opening
  • know location and operation of all safety equipment
  • assist in storage and rotation of food items according to hotel procedures
  • perform other duties as assigned
