- high diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent
- two years of professional cook experience as an alternative to a high school diploma
- two years of cooking experience
- ability to apply elementary math functions
- ability to work well under time constraints
- ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- clear and distinct speech with correct pronunciation

Job Duties

- ensure meals meet hospital safety standards
- perform other duties related to food service or safety
