Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to follow safety and security policies
  • Strong communication skills

  • No supervisory experience required

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
  • Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
  • Weigh measure and mix ingredients
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes quality and presentation standards
  • Operate ovens stoves grills microwaves and fryers
  • Monitor food quality and test foods to ensure proper cooking
  • Set up and break down work station
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
  • Check and ensure correctness of temperature of appliances and food
  • Follow company safety and security policies and complete safety training
  • Report maintenance needs accidents injuries and unsafe conditions
  • Maintain clean and professional personal appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • Support team to reach common goals
  • Support adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Stand sit or walk for entire shifts
  • Perform physical tasks including reaching bending lifting up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
