Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of line cook experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Possess a valid food handler's card

Job Qualifications

  • Two years of previous line cook experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic cooking skills and procedures
  • Ability to work independently on single kitchen stations
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Food handler's card possession

Job Duties

  • Prepare menu items according to Hyatt's standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Work independently on assigned kitchen stations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies
  • Adhere to portion control and presentation standards
